CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the UK. And CBRL are delighted to be a fully Registered Contractor.
We're delighted to have achieved membership of the Considerate Constructors initiative – a non-profit, independent organisation founded in 1997 by the construction industry, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements. We’re happy that the way we work is being recognised by the industry.

In one of our most significant achievements to date, Cruden Building secured BSI Registration to PAS99:2006 for their integrated management systems. This meant that we became the first builder in Scotland to be the accolade. This, Cruden Building’s 4th BSI certification, represents the standard for a single, holistic management system which encompasses 3 separate registrations already secured: ISO14001:2004 (for environment); ISO9001:2008 (for quality) and OHSAS18001:2007 (for Health & Safety).
