Following the Scottish Government’s statement on the gradual easing of some aspects of the COVID-19 lockdown on 28th May, pre-start operations will resume in a phased and controlled manner across Cruden Group developments from 1st June. In accordance with the current guidance, activity will commence with preparatory works in order to facilitate social distancing, enhanced hygiene regimes and the testing of new protocols.
As ever, the health and wellbeing of our employees, sub-contractors and clients remains of the utmost importance to us and I would like to take this opportunity to provide assurance that we have put in place a detailed and robust ‘safe return to work’ plan, which encompasses the Standard Operating Procedures set out by Construction Scotland in response to the pandemic. We will continue to monitor Government and Public Health guidance closely over the coming days and weeks so that the business can react accordingly in respect of implementation of the further stages of the Construction Restart Plan.
Our office based staff will continue to work from home for the time being, however they remain fully resourced to ensure ‘business as usual’ service in this capacity. In accordance with current guidance, our sales offices and show homes remain temporarily closed to visitors, however the Cruden Homes sales team is fully operational and well equipped to manage existing customers and new enquiries remotely, pending the re-opening of our facilities.
Should you have any queries in relation to operations on any of our developments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I’d like to take this opportunity to once again thank our loyal and committed staff, clients, sub-contractors and supply chain for the flexibility and resilience they have shown during these challenging times and to thank everyone in advance for their collective efforts as we begin to emerge from lockdown. We remain sincerely grateful for the patience and understanding shown throughout recent weeks and the weeks ahead.
