We’ll appoint an estate agent to sell your property, arrange the Home Report and cover all the costs of getting your house on the market – what’s not to love?

How it works

  1. Visit a Cruden Homes development and speak to our sales advisor about the Assisted Move scheme.
  2.  If your property is suitable for the scheme, we’ll hold the plot of your choice whilst we arrange for two separate estate agent valuations to be carried out on your home. The agents will share their pricing and marketing strategies with you and you can select the agent of your choice. We’ll also arrange for a Home Report to be completed by a surveyor.
  3. You can then reserve your new Cruden Home and complete the reservation paperwork and we’ll get your current property on the market.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Assisted Move scheme is available on selected plots and developments. Scheme criteria apply – please ask the sales advisor for full details. You must be the owner of your current home.
  2. Any offer of Assisted Move is subject to HR valuation and satisfactory HR report.
  3.  Cruden Homes is under no obligation to accept your property into the Assisted Move Scheme.
  4. You must be prepared to market your property as soon as possible after reservation and consider the possibility of vacating your existing home in the event you receive an offer with a date of entry prior to the completion of your new home.
  5. Assisted Move is not usually suitable for plots that are going to be complete within 16 weeks from the point of reservation.

  2. If your property is suitable for Part Exchange, we’ll hold the plot of your choice whilst we arrange for two separate valuations to be carried out on your home. Once we have feedback, we’ll provide you with our proposed purchase price for your current home.
  3. If you accept our offer, you will be invited to complete reservation paperwork to secure your new Cruden home and we’ll take care of everything else.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Part Exchange scheme is available on selected plots and developments only. Scheme criteria apply – please ask the sales advisor for full details. Specifically, the value of your current property must be at least 30% less than the value of the new Cruden home you wish to purchase.
  2. You must be the owner of your current home.
  3. Any offer of Part Exchange is subject to valuation and survey

Who’s eligible to use Own New’s service? And how does it work? 

This scheme is open to anyone purchasing a new build property including first time buyers and home movers. Own New works with home builders and lenders behind the scenes, taking a fee from the home builders and using this with the lender to reduce the interest on mortgage payments for the initial term. We will contribute between 3% and 5%, dependent on the build stage of your plot.
