Cruden Homes has generously donated £500 to Aberlady Primary School as part of their commitment to investing in the local community. The donation was used to help with the much needed refurbishment of the school’s reading room, going towards fixing the chairs.
Aberlady Primary school is close to the Meadowside development, where Cruden Homes are currently building an exclusive collection of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom executive homes. The development offers superb family homes in an excellent location.
Pupils contacted Cruden Homes to ask if they could help, as the chairs in their reading room were falling to pieces. The donation was welcomed by the school Head Teacher, Pam Currie, who said: “The donation from Cruden has helped to transform the reading room. It’s now a comfortable, peaceful area that staff and pupils are making great use of for reading groups.”
Hazel Davies, Sales and Marketing Director at Cruden Homes said: “We try give something back to the communities in which we build new homes, so we are thrilled to be able to help Aberlady Primary school.”
